The Regulatory Reform Fire Safety Order 2005 (RRFSO), came in to force on 1st October 2006. This simplified the previous legislation and made landlords responsible for fire safety risk assessments, which was previously the remit of the local fire authority.
Landlords are now directly required to obtain and keep such risk assessments up to date; so how do they do this?
